Citizen Spotlight: I Shouldn't Have to Lie in Order to Vote
Thien-Nam sees voting as a reflection of who he is and what he stands for. He thinks it's a little odd that he has to lie about his party affiliation in order to cast a ballot in the primary.
"In that context, when I go to the polls to exercise this almost sacred right and the first thing I have to do is, 'Oh, by the way, can you just lie a little bit about what you stand for, just so we can make this count?' There's something that seems really off about that, right?"
