Citizen Spotlight: I Was Incensed to Learn I Can't Vote
Rick Knobe is the former Mayor of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was incensed when he learned he can't vote in the Republican primary, which is often the only election that matters in South Dakota.
"The Republican Primary in South Dakota is the big race. It incensed me because I'm an American citizen. I have the right to vote, and the national Constitution has given me that right to vote. I qualify nationally to vote, but a group of people in this state have decided that I can't vote in an election that I'm helping to pay for. I find that morally repugnant."
